A Special Announcement About Josie

Hi Reader, I have some exciting news to share from Ridge Valley! After much thought and many months of watching her grow, we have decided that Josie will be staying right here at Ridge Valley as part of our future Mini Doradoodle program. As many of you know, Josie is a daughter of Jade, making this decision especially meaningful. Jade has been such an important part of our program, and I couldn't be more excited to watch Josie carry on her mama's legacy. From the beginning, she has embodied so many of the qualities we strive to produce in our puppies—an exceptional temperament, wonderful human focus, confidence, trainability, and an easygoing nature that makes her such a joy to live and work with. One of the things that has impressed me most is how consistently she has developed. Josie has held steady at 27 pounds since she was six months old, making her a perfect fit for the direction of our Mini Doradoodle program. While it will still be some time before Josie becomes a mama herself, I know many of you enjoy following along as our future breeding dogs grow and mature. If all goes according to plan, we anticipate Josie's first Mini Doradoodle litter arriving in the summer of 2027. In the meantime, keep an eye on the website and social media. You'll be seeing much more of Josie as she continues her training, health testing, and journey toward becoming one of our future Ridge Valley mamas. I am incredibly excited about what she represents for the future of our program, and I can't wait to share that journey with all of you. With gratitude, |
